Curtain airbags or side airbags require dependable protection from external influences. Easy assembly and one hundred percent reliability must be ensured as well.

The solution:
Airbag Wraps by Schreiner ProTech are protective wraps for curtain airbags. The wraps are laser-cut and laser-welded in an integrated process. This eliminates the need for conventional process steps like complex manual sewing.
Schreiner ProTech’s Airbag Wrap is an innovative and efficient protection and assembly system, which complies with all applicable OEM/automotive standards and specifications. The system received the 2008 Bavarian Innovation Award.
As an alternative to laser welding, Schreiner ProTech also offers an “open” version of the Airbag Wrap. Equipped with a self-adhesive strip laminated to the system, the open wrap is closed during the customer’s production process.
