A current example is a security label with a KeySecure code for Bosch. The company globally produces automotive components such as oxygen sensors, spark plugs, crankshaft start generators, maintenance software, and exhaust gas sensors according to high standards of quality. The challenge: internationally active companies like Bosch also need global means of control.
The worldwide web provides the perfect platform for such controls. The KeySecure seal is the means to use for this purpose. A security label is equipped with a counterfeit-resistant holographic strip, further overt and covert features as well as a 15-digit alphanumerical code.
This KeySecure code enables online authentications. To authenticate the product the user simply enters the code on a website and receives immediate feedback on whether the product is an original or a fake.
The solution is easy to use and cost-efficient. In addition, the seal can be customised to reflect the brand’s design, and combined with additional functions such as first-opening-protection.
